Kriesha Tiu, a.k.a. Chrisha Choo, the Filipino-American contestant on the Korean TV show “K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance,” and her partner Jeon Min Joo, advanced to the Top 6 round of the competition on March 12.
The duo performed Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love,” competing head-to-head with Shannon, who sang “See Through” by Primary.
The contestants were critiqued by show judges Park Jin-young of JYP Entertainment, Yang Hyun-suk of YG Entertainment and You Hee-yeol of Antenna Music.
“It didn’t sound like your title track,” Yang told Shannon, according to Kshowonline.
Tiu and Jeon were told by Park that although they “make a great team” they are yet to show their “best.”
In the end, Tiu and Jeon got two votes from You and Park. Shannon, on the other hand, only got one vote from Yang.
With this, Tiu and Jeon will compete during a live broadcast in the next episode.
Shannon is now a candidate for elimination.
In the other matches, Lee Soo Min and Kim Sohee edged out Boyfriend while Go Ara and Kim Hyerim defeated Ma Eunjin.
