Performing as Nicki Minaj on Sunday night, Awra Briguela was named first grand winner of “Your Face Sounds Familiar – Kids,” earning 95. 41% of the total votes.
The “Ang Probinsiyano” star bested Elha Nympha and AC Bonifacio, who came in at second and third place, respectively.
Nympha impersonated Luciano Pavarotti, while Bonifacio did Sarah Geronimo.
Aside from a trophy and a medal, Briguela received a house and lot, P1 million and a trip for four to Jeju, South Korea.
Briguela has been a consistent audience favorite throughout the season owing to his effective impersonations of celebrities including Rihanna, Alice Cooper and Louis Armstrong.
The show was hosted by Billy Crawford, with Sharon Cuneta, Ogie Alcasid, and Gary Valenciano as judges.
Briguela first gained notice posting videos on YouTube. Actor Coco Martin personally sought him for a role on “Ang Probinsyano,” for which he won Aral Parangal Awards’ Best Child Performer trophy twice.
He made his film debut in “Super Parental Guardians” last year.
