Fans who follow Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico on Instagram know how hilarious the two are.
Actually, it’s like watching a sitcom of sorts, but with added flavor.
Nico is a revelation, offering witty quips in his captions.
In one he said, “This is my shoot @solennheussaff… Don’t steal my natural light!”
In another, he wrote: “Falling in love with you everyday! Except for Sundays, Sunday is football day!”
It’s no surprise he has gained his own following.
Solenn would often tease Nico about it, noting that his newfound fame has led to him being ambassador of a new membership superstore in Cebu.
“Sabi ko ‘Wow, ikaw na,’” Solenn said. “Minsan may mag te-text pa: ‘Hi, is this Solenn?’ Sabi ko, ‘Yes this is Solenn.’ ’Yun pala sasabihin lang na, ‘I just want to inquire kung sino ba ’yung manager ni Nico.’ So sabi ko na lang, ‘Ako ang manager – at busy siya.’”
She revealed some celebrities compliment his husband’s humor.
“Si Regine (Velasquez-Alcasid) sabi niya, ‘Hay naku Solenn I follow your husband, nakakatawa siya,’ ganun-ganun.” she related.
Of course, all these things are nothing new to Solenn.
“Kahit noon ganu’n talaga siya,” she said. “Hindi na bago. Nabubwisit na nga ako eh. I really don’t know why people laugh so much (about his posts). I mean it’s funny but its not that funny.”
And how does Nico react when she tells him about it?
“Naku, he would just say, ‘You’re just jealous.’”
Solenn and Nico don’t agree on some things but they accept each other’s quirks.
Just recently, Nico agreed to let Solenn transform him into CNN anchor Natalie Allen through the magic of makeup.
“Magkamuha kasi sila, parang si Nico na may long hair,” Solenn explained. “So sabi ko sa kanya let’s do it, it’s going to be funny, it’s going to be viral. And he agreed.
“While doing his makeup, though, ’di ko kinaya, napaiyak ako sa sobrang tawa. Kahit ’yung videographer namin tumatawa na. And he was like, ‘Why, what’s happening?’ Lalo akong natawa.”
The video is yet to see the light of day with Nico apparently not happy with the result.
“Ayaw na niya na ipalabas ko sa website, super galit siya sa akin pero pina-edit ko pa rin. Sabi ko gawin kong funny-funny. I’m still waiting for him to say yes.”
If ever, many would be able to see it on the newly launched www.solenn.ph.
The 31-year-old actress shared the site “is an extension of myself, where I want to share my life with you in the realest way possible. You won’t find perfection here, but you can expect me to be true to myself and to open up all the different, crazy sides there are to me, while doing all of the things I love and I’m passionate about. A little bit of everything… life’s just so much more interesting that way.”
Solenn maintained people will get to know the real her through the site.
“A lot of people call me a celebrity but that’s the last word I would use to describe myself. I’m just a girl who likes to do a little bit of everything – I act, design, do makeup, paint, cook, bake, make books, sing, and work out a lot – and I always, always have fun.”
