Joshua Garcia always gives his 100 percent in everything he does.
At the recent press conference for his Holiday collection for BNY, it was revealed the model-actor himself handpicked the styles and conceptualized the logo represented by the initials J.G.
He said the line is a reflection of who he is.
It was supposed to be launched last October, his birth month, but it got pushed back due to his hectic schedule.
“Kaya sobrang happy ako na lalabas na siya, finally after 1000 years,” he said in jest.
Among the designs he chose is the relaxed fit striped, ringer and quarter-sleeve tee. Also clothes like loose fit full-print woven short, wind-breaker hooded jacket, carpenter jeans in dark wash, and skinny jeans in blue wash.
What’s his favorite, we asked. Now there’s a tough question, he replied, “para sa akin talaga lahat eh (kasi) lahat ’yan kami nakaisip.”
Proud and thankful
Starting as contestant on a reality show before blossoming into a very promising actor, Joshua can’t be more thankful for all the blessings he has been getting.
Kulang pa ’yung pasasalamat,” he said.
Joshua is careful that amid the success, he remains true to himself.
He shared that having a smooth relationship with co-workers and with people he encounters everyday is a key to having a prosperous life.
Aside from versatile actor John Lloyd Cruz, Joshua looks up to Robin (Padilla) whom he worked with in the movie “Unexpectedly Yours.”
He divulged Robin would always greet everyone in the production staff and crew, as in no exception.
“Simula sa pinaka mababa hanggang sa pinaka-mataas – kahit pagod na siya – ’pag pack up, lahat babatiin niya,” Joshua said.
Does he plan to follow in the footsteps of Robin once dubbed the “Bad Boy” of Philippine cinema?
