Former f(x) member Sulli, hit Japanese anime movie “Your Name” and the hit TV series “Goblin” ruled this year’s top trending Google searches in South Korea.
In the top searches on Google in South Korea, “Your Name” came first followed by “Goblin,” Sulli, murder suspect “Molar Daddy” Lee Young-hak, mobile game Lineage M, President Moon Jae-in, movie “The Outlaws,” Pokemon, late actor Kim Joo Hyuk and the film “Real.”
In the top trending searches for artists in South Korea in 2017, Sulli placed first followed by the late actor Kim Joo Hyuk who died on Oct. 30, late actress Kim Young-ae who passed away in April, TV personality Kim Jung-min, actor Gong Yoo, actress Song Hye Kyo, late singer Kim Kwang Suk, TWICE, actress Lee Pa-ni and late actress Yoon So Jung who died last June.
The top 10 most searched TV programs are dramas “Goblin” and “While You Were Sleeping,” rap contest “Show Me The Money 6,” “Game Of Thrones,” drama “Temperature Of Love,” variety show “Infinite Challenge,” dramas “Fight For My Way,” “Because This Is My First Life” and “Stranger,” and the survival audition TV show “Produce 101” Season 2.
“Your Name” topped the most searched movies in Korea in 2017. It was followed by “The Outlaws,” “Real,” “A Taxi Driver,” “Midnight Runners,” “Misbehavior,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “The Battleship Island,” “A Silent Voice,” and “Dunkirk.”
