“K-Pop Star 6” runner-up Kriesha Chu is going big time by putting out her first mini album early next year.
The K-pop singer has released the tracklist of her new album titled “Kriesha Chu: The 1st Mini Album” out on Jan. 3.
Containing four tracks, the album will have the song “Like Paradise,” composed and written by Flow Blow and Hui of Pentagon, as the promotional song.
Chu took part in the lyrics and composition of the English version of “Sunset Dream” and she is also credited as one of the composers of the Korean version. She has teamed up with fellow singer Min Joo for the song “Falling Star.”
On her V Live channel, she recently showed her dancing skill by performing a cover of K-pop boy band BTS’ popular song “DNA.”
Following her runner-up win on “K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance” last April, Chu officially made her K-pop debut in May with a single album that contained the songs “Trouble” and “I Want You.”
Last July, she came back to the Philippines and performed at the “Mission I: Super Pop Concert Music Festival 2017” together with boy bands B.A.P, B1A4, BTOB, VIXX, Pentagon, and B.I.G.
She appeared last September on Channel A’s Korean variety show “We Are Also National Athletes” where stars trained and competed with each other in short track speed skating. The TV program was in support of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics that will be held in South Korea from Feb. 9-25 next year.
