“Medyo rollercoaster ride, sort of, kasi nag-start kasi ako ng 2017 ng nasa banda ako.”
This how singer-actress Hannah Precillas began her recollection of the last 12 months when asked about it by Bulletin Entertainment.
She’s talking about Spellbound Manila band that does Motown tunes, soul and disco music. The 21-year-old performer was one of three main singers.
Though the members of the group had become her family, she admitted that being the youngest, it was hard adapting to the genre.
Hannah left the group in September.
“Actually one of my reasons is siyempre para sa isang singer may times talaga na napapagod ka. And it happened to me three years ago, four years ago na nawalan ako ng boses dahil sa banda, sobrang pagod kasi every night may gig. Five nights in one week kakanta ka ng kakanta,” she shared.
She is now a solo singer and she delves into acting with projects going through GMA Artist Center.
Recall that she won on “Bet Ng Bayan.” This young lady had appeared on the GMA anthology series “Karelasyon” and “Magpakailanman.” She also had a cameo role on the GMA TV series “Haplos.”
Hannah also sang the theme song “Kanlungan” for the drama series “Kambal Karibal.”
Next 12 months
Among her goals in 2018 is to shed unwanted fats.
Why is she conscious about her physical appearance, we asked. She looks great, we added.
“Kasi sa TV ’pag nakikita ako ng iba sa personal ang sinasabi ‘Ay ang liit-liit mo pala,’ kasi sa TV nga dumodoble, triple ’yung look kaya mas nagmumukha akong lalong mataba,” she replied with a smile.
She dreams of relocating her family in Bohol to Manila to live with her. This means she aims to buy house and car in time.
Hannah hopes more doors will open to her, including hosting gigs.
“If ever sana may regular na teleserye na magiging part ako, kahit support support lang,” she said. “Lagi ko naman pini-picture out ’yung positive things.”
Hannah performs at Diamond Hotel every Monday and Wednesday.
