A music festival is set to hit the Philippines that will bring back the music of the ’90s and early 2000s.
Playback Music Festival is set on Feb. 10 at the Circuit Makati Event Grounds and will feature four international and three Filipino artists that will put everyone on throwback mood.
The featured artists are BLUE, Vertical Horizon, Stephen Speaks and Leigh Nash of Sixpence None the Richer, and local artists Rivermaya, Moonstar88 and MYMP.
BLUE, composed of Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe, is known for songs as “One Love,” “All Rise,” “Too Close” and “Best In Me.”
Vertical Horizon released songs as “Everything You Want,” “Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning)” and “We Are” while Stephen Speaks is known for “Passenger Seat” and “Out Of My League.”
Leigh Nash is the lead singer of Sixpence None the Richer, a band whose hits include “Kiss Me” and “There She Goes.”
Rivermaya’s famous songs include “Ulan,” “214,” “Kisapmata” and “Himala” while Moonstar88’s songs are “Torete” and “Sulat” among others and MYMP’s songs include “A Little Bit” and “Get Me.”
Playback Music Festival will also showcase the most iconic retro video games, movie and TV series screenings and fashion styles.
