Pia Wurtzbach bent on making the most of her fame



Her reign may have ended but Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach intends to make the most out of her popularity. Others may want to go back to what they used to be or even settle down to domesticity, but the former beauty queen intend to make use of her fame the best way possible.

“Opportunities come only once or twice sometimes, so I’d like to take advance of such opportunities,” Pia said. “I don’t like them to pass me by.” What she also wants to do in the near future is to go back to New York. “I stayed in New York for a year but I found out it wasn’t enough time to really explore the City. Kulang na kulang so I want to go back and enjoy it to the fullest,” she said,

During her recent launch as Goya Chocolate’s Brand Ambassador at the Marco Polo Hotel Ortigas, Pia stressed her desire to follow a path towards acting. She made her debut movie with Vice Ganda via “Gandarappido: The Revenger Squad” which was 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival topgrosser (with receipts reportedly amounting to almost P600-million). And for her follow-up film, Pia said she will have Gerard Anderson as her leading man. She has the blessings of her boyfriend, Marlon Stockinger, on this project Pía said.

Also launched to coincide with the announcement of Pia’s being Goya’s brand ambassador was Goya’s “Get a Taste of World-Class” promo which started last Jan. 18 and will end on Feb. 28, 2018.
