Ariana Grande sent an empowering message to her fans on Sunday after noticing that most of them hide or crop out their faces from their photos with the songstress.
The pop star encouraged her fans called “Arianators” to love themselves more and show their faces in photos.
“I love meeting y’all out and about, it makes me so happy! But it makes me so sad when y’all don’t put your faces in the photos or put emojis over your faces or ask to not be in them! You show me so much unconditional love all the time no matter what I look like,” Grande wrote on her Instagram story.
“You deserve to show yourselves that same kindness, please learn to give that to yourselves! You will get there and you deserve it and I love you the very same way! Sweet dreams,” the award-winning singer continued.
Arianators were quick to respond to Grande’s call and started posting photos of themselves on social media with the hashtag #SelfiesForAriana.
Fans expressed gratitude to the “Dangerous Woman” singer for making them feel more empowered confident about themselves.
“Beyond grateful to Ariana for helping me feel empowered and beautiful in my own skin. She’s helped me through so much and made me feel more loved than I ever thought I could. I love you,” one fan wrote.
“#SelfiesforAriana because i love her with the whole of my heart & i love myself even more because of her,” another fan wrote.
“When my confidence is low, Ariana helps me so much. I can’t imagine life without her,” tweeted another.
The hit maker recognized her fans’ efforts and expressed her love for them in another Instagram story.
“I love you so gahhhhdamn much,” Grande captioned her Instagram story, which was a video of her scrolling through her Twitter feed with #SelfieForAriana tweets.
“Y’all are such a light in my life. thank you for making my day already,” she added.
