Is it possible to stay in love long after the first sparks were ignited? Here’s good news from Anthony Taberna.

Broadcaster Anthony Taberna and wife Rossel Velasco reasserted their vows in an exclusive garden in Tagaytay recently after 11 years of being married.

In one of the posts of Nice Print Photography on their Instagram account, they shared some of the lines that the ABS-CBN broadcaster uttered during the exchange of vows.

“I love you more today than yesterday. That is actually my vow, I will love you until I breathe my last but I will love you more passionately more happily tomorrow than today because you are my dream come true,” it read.

At the ceremony, Rossel glowed in a Mak Tumang lacey gown. She wore a custom bejewelled sandals made of pearlized leather in teal color.

Anthony, on the other hand, looked nifty in a bright blue suit.

Among local stars who attended the ceremony were actress Roxanne Guinoo, Miss Universe Philippines 2013 Ariella Arida, singer-comedienne K Brosas, journalist Atom Araullo, model-beauty queen Tina Marasigan, former baskteball player Robert Jaworski, and celebrity couple Gladys Reyes and husband Christopher Roxas.

Days after the reaffirmation, Bulletin Entertainment talked to Anthony at the opening of the eighth branch of Ka Tunying’s Cafe inside SM North Towers.

And so we asked: What is the secret to a happy marriage?

“Like what they always say ‘Happy wife, happy life,’” said Anthony. “What makes her happy is also my happiness.”

He said that the reaffirmation is what they’ve always wanted for their wedding years back.

“We really had so many things we wanted to do back then,” he said. “And one of the major reasons we couldn’t do it was because of tight budget.

“But now, thank God, we’re in a favorable circumstance.”
