Supportive sister

Alex was first to congratulate her sister Toni Gonzaga when the latter started vlogging.

No, Alex is not “threatened” at all, believing it’s time for Toni’s fans to know more about who she is as sister, daughter, wife and most importantly, mother.

Actually, Toni is no stranger to the platform having appeared several times in Alex’s videos. Note that the younger Gonzaga has more than two million subscribers on YouTube. She recently received a Gold Play button award, just a year after launching her account.

Netizens have commended Alex’s videos for featuring her family – mother Pinty, father Bonoy, Toni, nephew Seve, and boyfriend Mikee Morada.

She also gets up close and personal with her followers by making and posting videos of her trips abroad, makeup tutorials and dance covers. The music video of her song “Chambe” (inspired by her nephew Seve) has reached 15 million as of this writing.

Talking about Toni’s new venture, Alex said: “I’m so happy for her. I guess there will be no competition between the two of us because she has her own concept. She will subscribers a glimpse of her being a first time mom, on how she balances her career as actress-singer and wife.”

According to her, there’s more to Toni than meets the eye.

“When she had her own family, people didn’t know she discovered a lot of things about herself. Toni now cooks, and she loves plants. She’s now an interior designer!” she shared.

The 31-year-old revealed Toni consulted her about some aspects in vlogging.

Looking for generous Filipino celebrities? There’s Angeline.

The singer proved how big of a heart she has, this after she surprised her driver, Kuya Boy, with a motorcycle as gift.

“I always hear him complain about his motorcycle. He lives in Antipolo and whenever his motorcycle has problems, he can’t go home. I remember him telling me his children were getting mad at him for the times he was unable to go home,” she said.
“And so I thought of a solution. I asked my friends to look for a motorcycle show. Then one day, I told Kuya Boy I had to look for a motorcycle for my family. He went with me, even suggesting what to buy.”

Little did he know that the motorcycle he chose would actually be his.

“When the salesman gave the keys to me, Kuya Boy asked me, ‘Ma’am, how can they deliver the motorcycle to our home if you will get the key?’ I answered: ‘No, Kuya, this is for you.’”

Angeline described Kuya Boy as a hard-working man. She hopes the simple gift made him happy.

Love and forgiveness

Jericho’s starrer “Halik” has been getting favorable response for its intriguing plot.

In an interview, he said the series has reminded him about the importance of “unconditional love.”

“We have a responsibility for marriage to grow. We need to value our partners, as well as our friends,” he added.

“Halik” is about two couples whose marriages are marred by temptation, discontentment, misunderstandings, and other relationship problems.

It was recently revealed that Lino (Jericho) is the father of Jade’s (Yam Concepcion) love child. Scanning internet posts, netizens were surprised and a bit dismayed over the paternity test result.

With the unexpected twists and turns, Jericho remains “clueless” on the ending.

CEO Glenda Victorio was ecstatic over its success.

To those who aren’t aware of it, Glenda, 21, is 2018’s Youngest CEO in the field of cosmetics and skin care in the Philippines.

A native of Morong, Rizal, this millennial entrepreneur is not ashamed that her mother used to be a “guest relation officer.” She worked hard at a young age in order to survive. She revealed trying her luck on reality shows like “Pinoy Big Brother.”
At 16, Glenda got pregnant. But she didn’t throw away her dreams of becoming a millionaire.

“I may be a single mother, I may not have finished school but I didn’t stop pursuing my dreams,” she said. “I guess it’s just a matter of perseverance and hard work. Let’s us not forget that we can face all challenges if we lean onto God. It’s easy to have a business but it won’t work if you don’t put your heart in it,” was her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs.
