K-pop superstars BTS will be joining an array of singers, actors and entertainers as presenters at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards which will take place on Feb. 10 (Feb. 11 in Manila) at Staples Center in Los Angeles and to be hosted by Alicia Keys.
According to the Grammy Awards, among the presenters are BTS, Anna Kendrick, Meghan Trainor, Jada Pinkett Smith, Wilmer Valderrama, Kelsea Ballerini, Leon Bridges, Luke Combs, Charlie Wilson, Alessia Cara, Julian Edelman, Eve, John Mayer, Bob Newhart, Smokey Robinson, Swizz Beatz, Kane Brown, Cedric The Entertainer and Nina Dobrev.
BTS will have the distinction of being the first Korean singer to attend the Grammy Awards.
A Korean media outlet reported that BTS will leave for Los Angeles today.
On Twitter, Staples Center uploaded a photo of the seating arrangement for the Grammy Awards and it showed that BTS will seat in two rows. Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton will be in front of them while Kendrick and Camila Cabello will be seated next to them.
This year’s Grammy performers include Chloe x Halle, Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Travis Scott, J Balvin, Cabello, Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, Dan + Shay, H.E.R., Little Big Town, Post Malone, Ricky Martin, Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monáe, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, Parton, Katy Perry, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Diana Ross, Arturo Sandoval and Young Thug.
Dua Lipa will have a number with St. Vincent while Yolanda Adams, Fantasia and Andra Day will honor Aretha Franklin, the Recording Academy added.
HuskyFox, which designed BTS’ album “Love Yourself: Tear,” is nominated for Best Recording Package.
