Stars Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker hinted on Monday that Rush Hour 4 is finally happening.
In an Instagram post, Tucker posted a photo of him and Chan holding up four fingers with no caption attached.
Rush Hour fans around the world were quick to assume that the pair was hinting at the possibility of a sequel to the movie series.
Prior to the post, Tucker also took to Instagram to greet Chan for his 65th birthday. “Today is Jackie’s birthday. I want to wish my boy Jackie Chan a Happy Birthday!”
The pair is known for playing the roles of cop duo Chief Inspector Lee and Detective James Carter in the blockbuster series.
Last year, Tucker confirmed on ESPN’s podcast that the fourth film is happening in February. “This is gonna be the rush of all rushes. Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it.”
Two years ago, Chan also confirmed the fourth sequel was in the works.
