Add boy bands NU’EST and GOT7 to the list of Korean artists who will come to the Philippines for shows.
Five-member NU’EST will hold their “Segno in Manila” tour on Aug. 31 at the Araneta Coliseum, their first concert in the country.
GOT7, on the other hand, will have their “Keep Spinning” 2019 World Tour in Manila on Oct. 26 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
NU’EST’s concert tour is in support of their new album “Happily Ever After,” which came out on April 29, that includes the carrier track “BET BET” and “Segno.”
The album marked NU’EST’s comeback in three years since releasing the album “Canvas” in 2016. This is also the return of Minhyun to the group since finishing his stint as a member of project boy band “Wanna One” from 2017 to 2018.
“Happily Ever After” has sold more than 220,000, the highest sales record that NU’EST achieved since debuting in 2012.
GOT7’s “Keep Spinning” world tour is related to their upcoming album “Spinning Top: Between Security and Insecurity” that will be released on May 20.
Teaser photos of members Jackson, Mark, Jinyoung, Youngjae, JB, BamBam and Yugyeom have been uploaded online.
After the album’s release, GOT7 will launch the tour in Seoul on June 15 and 16 followed by Newark, Toronto, Dallas, Los Angeles, Oakland, Mexico City, Santiago, Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, Madrid, Paris and Manila.
GOT7 released their last album “Present: You” last September, which sold 326,754 copies in 2018 and was certified platinum by Gaon music chart for selling 250,000 copies.
