Co-founder of Papemelroti stationary shop passes away



Bienvenido Alejandro, the co-founder of Papemelroti stationary shop in the country, dies at the age of 92 years old.

In Papemelroti’s official Instagram account, the shop announced Alejandro’s passing Wednesday, May 15.

Papemelroti was established on October 13, 1967, by husband and wife Corit and Bienvenido Alejandro.

The shop’s first name was Korben Gifts and was later changed into Papemelroti which is the merged names of their 5 children Patsy, Peggy, Meldy, Robert, and Tina in the summer of 1976.

Papemelroti first opened its doors to the public in Alimall, Cubao.
