Korean star Lee Min Ho and his fans have made donations for the welfare of underprivileged children in South Korea.
Lee Min Ho, through his donation platform PROMIZ, gave the donation to 12 Community Child Centers in Jinan County in North Jeolla province in South Korea.
The donation came from sales of PROMIZ gift sets, which were products from Jinan, and benefitted 337 children under the centers. In addition, 55 children received Children’s Day gifts.
MINOZ, the actor’s fan club, celebrated their 10th anniversary this year by giving 1.5 tons (1,500 kilos) and 300 kilos of kimchi for the feeding of the children under the 12 centers in Jinan.
The centers are welfare facilities that provide food, education, medical and cultural support to children who need help.
Lee Min Ho established the PROMIZ charity arm in 2014 to help in raising funds for different causes. PROMIZ has received the Korea Good Brand Award for three consecutive years from 2016 to 2018.
The actor completed his military service and was discharged on April 25. He will star in the drama “The King: The Eternal Monarch,” which will air next year.
