While American country singer-songwriter Carrie Underwood was making history as most awarded artist in CMT Music Awards this year, Filipino designer based in Dubai, Michael Cinco, must’ve been smiling as she carried the mini dress he created with so much flair.

It s not the first time Carrie wore a Cinco. In 2016, she was in a blush beaded Michael Cinco ball gown at the CMA Awards. And just last month, she donned a Couturissimo x Michael Cinco betty floral mini dress.

Other Hollywood celebrities who’ve worn creations by Cinco are Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Mila Kunis, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Tyra Banks, and Paris Hilton, to name a few.

A few days earlier, American actor Billy Porter wore a Francis Libiran creation during the Season 2 premiere night of drama series “Pose” in New York City.

Through Billy’s Instagram account, he praised the Filipino designer for the “stunning custom couture piece you sent all the way from The Philippines.”

“I feel like a Matador Kween! Coming for all the bullies and killing them with love and slayage,” he wrote.
Francis returned the good words.

“I’m truly honored to be given this amazing opportunity to dress the iconic and fabulous Billy Porter!!,” he posted as caption to a series of short videos of Billy during a photo op.

Francis has dressed some of the biggest stars in local and international events such as Tyra Banks, Gwen Stefani, Mel B, Priyanka Chopra, Angela Bassett, Serayah McNeill, Nikki Reed, Darren Criss, and Mena Massoud.
