After helping many celebrities land in the best-dressed list, Frederick Peralta is now the one in need.
The acclaimed Filipino fashion designer, who suffered from stroke last year, is selling more than 50 dresses and suits to help raise funds for his medical expenses.
The clothes are on sale in a trunk show at Marriott Manila Hotel.
Peralta’s friend and director of marketing communications at the said hotel, Michelle Garcia, appealed online and asked for help on behalf of her “Mother Fred.”
Peralta had a stroke last year and was moved to Home Health Care, a health care service provider with a team of physicians, registered nurses, physical therapists, nutritionists/dieticians, medical technologists and trained caregivers.
She wrote: “I invite all my friends in the industry to share the love to Mother Fred through any of the following:
“A. Share this to your friends and our poster on SHOP & HELP trunk sale for Mother Fred.“B. Join and buy items from our SHOP & HELP trunk sale from (until) June 23 at Marriott 7AM to 7PM.
“C. Contribute directly to Mother Fred’s recovery through monetary contributions. Please contact Len Peralta-Caro (mother Fred’s sister).”
