Members of K-pop girl group TWICE have arrived in Manila for their first-ever concert.
The idol group arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Friday ahead of their “TWICELIGHTS” World Tour in Manila due June 29 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
At the airport, fans waited for the group’s arrival and the hashtags #TWICE_TOUCHDOWNinMANILA and #TWICELIGHTSinMANILA grabbed the first two places on Twitter’s trending topics in the Philippines.
Before Manila, TWICE held the world tour in Bangkok, Thailand last June 15 that drew about 8,000 fans. From Manila, the girls will tour Singapore before heading to the US.
TWICE released their seventh mini-album “Fancy You” last April. It achieved platinum status this month for reaching 250,000 copies in sales.
“TWICELIGHTS” World Tour in Manila is presented by JYP Entertainment and Pulp Live World, and powered by Globe.
