Comedian-actress Eugene Domingo hopes her boyfriend of three years, Danilo Bottoni, is the “one.”
In a recent interview, she hopes they would end up at the altar.
“Hopefully, yes! Lahat naman tayo, ‘di ba, nangangarap ng kapayapaan pagdating sa aspeto ng settling down,” she explained. “But as of this moment, really, I’m very happy and I’m very thankful na, ayun na nga…”
Asked if her Italian beau has already popped the question, Eugene replied they’re “almost there.”
“Paano ko ba papaliwanag ito? We’re almost there. It’s, like, he is my life,” the 47-year-old actress noted.
If her partner asks her hand in marriage soon, Eugene said she will gladly accept the proposal.
“Nasa tamang edad na po ako para magpakasal. Ano pa bang iniingatan niyo sa akin?,” she quipped.
Asked for updates about their romance as they are in a long-distance relationship, the Kapuso artist simply said she couldn’t ask for more.
“Ang saya. Sarap. Tsaka tamang-tama lang. Hindi naman kami yung masyadong nagmamadali sa lahat ng bagay. Sakto lang. Bata pa naman kami,” she shared.
The actress is even willing to settle down in Italy if he asks her to do it.
“Of course, but I’m not saying I’m gonna retire as an actress because an actor never retires. So, hindi naman siya trabaho na parang 60 years old ka na, pension na. Hindi. Alam niyo naman, you can act kahit 100 (years old). But if it will call for more time spending in Italy, then yes.”
Eugene’s latest project, iWant’s “Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 3: The Real Untold Story Of Josephine Bracken,” starts streaming on July 17. The original seven-episode series is written by Chris Martinez under the helm of Marlon Rivera.
