The upcoming Zombieland: Double Tap teased their fans with a new poster on their Twitter account, Saturday.
The poster featured a city block in the shape of a ‘2’ with the title in the middle and the release date –October 18, inscribed at the bottom.
The sequel follows the story of the first film, Zombieland that was released in 2009 which is set in a world where America is infested with Zombies and people called themselves the name of their origin city to avoid attachment with other people.
The focus of the story is a college student called Columbus who meets three strangers and tries to find a sanctuary free from zombies with them.
The movie features Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin who are part of the original cast. New cast members are Zoey Deutsch, Rosario Dawson, Luke Wilson, Thomas Middleditch, and Avan Jogia.
The movie is directed by Ruben Fleischer, the one behind the Marvel film ‘Venom’.
The first movie was well-received with a 90% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
