Who’s excited over Judy Ann Santos’ comeback to primetime?
After almost two years of preparations, the country’s queen of soap operas announced that there’s no stopping her, as well as the management, from doing her upcoming ABS-CBN series “Starla.”
“Basically it’s about wishes, and ‘yung personal battle ng character ko how to forgive a town, how to forgive myself. It’s about trust, honesty,” Judy Ann said in a Push.com article as she discussed the concept of the show.
“Ngayon lang ulit ako gagawa ng serye na pambata, kaya excited na akong mapanood ito ng mga anak namin. Kasi for the longest time, we don’t allow them to watch our teleseryes, so at least ito pwede silang manood, at the same time it’s about time na magkaroon tayo ng teleserye na heart warming, would focus on the values of the children, and the values that we have as adults. And something refreshing,” she added.
No official announcement as to when “Starla” will air as of press time.
It was back in 2013 when Judy Ann last led a series.
In the meantime, she is one of the guests actress on Coco Martin’s “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
