‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ makes history in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

From Manila to Hong Kong and now, Jeddah.

“Hello, Love, Goodbye” makes history as the first-ever Filipino movie to be screened in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, the film is the love story of Joy and Ethan, Filipino workers based in Hong Kong. Ethan, a bartender, is keen on romantically pursuing Joy, a domestic helper who is dedicated to providing for her family.

The good news was announced by Star Cinema executive Mico del Rosario in an Instagram post, Monday.

“Para sa inyo po ito, mga Kabayan namin sa Jeddah! Tapos na ang paghihintay ninyo! Sa wakas, isang pelikulang Pilipino ay mapapanood na natin! Kaya naman yayain na ang lahat ng Pinoy na kakilala mo sabay-sabay po tayong manood ng blockbuster movie na ito starring Kathryn Bernardo at Alden Richards!” the post read.

“Hello, Love, Goodbye” will open in Jeddah on August 8.

Apart from Jeddah, the blockbuster hit movie will also get a commercial release in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Japan and South Korea.
