TNT Boys composed of Kiefer Sanchez, Mackie Empuerto, and Francis Concepcion are featured in the docu-series “Journey To The World Stage” about their story from “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” stint to conquering the world stage.
In a recent “Tonight With Boy Abunda” episode where the trio sat as guest subjects, they announced the series will be streamed on iWant starting tomorrow.
Asked what viewers could learn from their story, Mackie said they hope it would at least be inspiring.
“Ito po kasi ‘yung pinagsimulan po namin, natalo po kami sa ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’ pero hindi po kami nag-stop pong kumanta, hanggang sa ‘yun po naabot po namin ‘yung mga world tour, world tour… mga first major concert na sold out pa po,” he said.
Kiefer said the message is to “try and try until you succeed” and “don’t give up.”
The TNT Boys made waves internationally on strength of their stellar voices.
They drew the attention of international talk shows as “Little Big Shots USA,” “Little Big Shots UK,” and “Little Big Shots Australia;” and also the biggest news sites like BBC, DailyMail, Huffington Post, Asean Breaking News, etc.
The boys also got praise from some of the brightest names in the international music scene, including Queen lead guitarist Brian May, Snoop Dog, Rebel Wilson, Jessie J., and Ariana Grande, who even made a surprise appearance on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” while TNT Boys were performing a song.
Recently, the trio competed on CBS’ reality talent show “World’s Best.”
According to Kiefer, the docu-series took them almost a year to finish, and that a videographer was with them nearly 24/7.
The audience should watch out for their petty fights caught on cam, they added.
“Abangan niyo po ang tampuhan namin na super immature,” Mackie said in jest.
TNT Boys recently released their first-ever single “Together We Fly.”
