“I was very honored to be invited here to the general headquarters of the Philippine Armed Forces. It such a warm reception, I feel greatly honored,” she said in a video uploaded by Ted Cordero of GMA News on Twitter.

“It really is amazing to be recognized by the Philippine Armed Forces. They really do bring so much pride to our country and their full work is to give us safe and thriving country, and also for its people. I feel greatly honored to be here.”

Catriona revealed AFP’s willingness to help her advocacy concerning education for the youth.

“And also about women empowerment. It’s also an inspiration for our Filipino youth to look up to the military figures, especially female soldiers. I see the duality of strength and selfless (in them),” she said.

Catriona is open to the idea of joining AFP as a reservist, although she’s still not sure what field to pursue.

“It’s something that you’ll definitely learn in giving back to your country. But I’m definitely open to it,” she said.
