Although they already make a killing in show business, these celebrities have found their way back to school.
Over a month since her return from the US for a series of surgeries for her fractured finger, Liza Soberano is back to pursuing a degree in Psychology.
Posting a photo of herself, all smiles, while discussing something with a school staff, she wrote in the caption section: “What I like most about being a student is the joy of discovering new things and appreciating what the world has to offer. Glad to be back… ”
Liza is set to star on a series with on-screen and real-life partner Enrique Gil.
As for Arci Muñoz, it seems one degree is not enough for her.
The actress-singer graduated with a Theater Arts degree from the University of the Philippines in 2005. Some 14 years later, Arci is back to school, although it’s still unclear whether she’s pursuing a Master’s Degree or another course.
On Instagram, she posted a photo of herself sitting in front of Palma Hall at UP Diliman.
“Pure Nostalgia!! Wala pa ako picture dito sa building namin nung nagaaral pa ko sa U.P ’05 un. wala pa kasi camera fone ko noon. Nokia 8210 pa fone ko. Hihi ngayon balik eskwela na ko mag take na ko maraming pics!” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Juancho Triviño is in the final stretch of getting a degree in Business Management.
The Kapuso actor narrated how he manages to juggle his showbiz work and studies.
“…Nag simula ako mag aral 2009, but when I started in the industry, I got caught up with work and never really prioritized finishing my degree. Last year, I decided to continue what my parents worked hard for: my education. Since then I have been juggling work and school to the point na nag papahatid ako sa service ng ‘Unang Hirit’ mismo sa La Salle, mag papa excuse ako sa work because I have exams, or minsan kahit walang tulog derecho ako ng class,” he shared.
“No special treatments also, bagsak kung bagsak. Mahirap siya friends, and kahit na it’s cool to look good and take care of outer stuff, I’ve realized that education is still one of the best things we can prioritize and pursue,” Juancho added.
