Swedish YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has crossed the 100 million-subscriber mark on Youtube, making him the first individual creator to do so.
Last year, the 29-year old competed with T-Series, an Indian music label for the race to 100 million YouTube subscribers.
Fans took the rivalry seriously, and even went as far as buying billboards and hacking GTA (Grand Theft Auto) V, and printers just to increase PewDiePie’s subscriptions.
However, T-Series ended up winning the race on May.
The YouTuber first joined the platform in 2010.
YouTube has already sent a congratulatory video to PewDiePie via Twitter.
