Birthdays often see the celebrator or the loved ones get extra cheesy.

Sharon Cuneta and Regine Velasquez recently posted on social media sweet messages for their respective husbands.

Sharon greeted Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan when he celebrated his 56th birthday last Saturday.

On Instagram, the Megastar expressed gratitude to her “better half” for “never letting go” even amid difficult times in their marriage.

“I know I am blessed to have you as my better half. I have never loved or appreciated you as much as I do now,” she said. “I know we will still have some differences in certain areas – like politics (hehe) – but like always, we will always find a common ground.”

Apart from being a loving and faithful husband to her, the singer-actress also thanked Kiko for being a fantastic father to their “troop” – KC, Frankie, Miel and Miguel.

“I truly cannot imagine living without you, and I look forward to growing old and grey with you and having no one else to wake up with in the middle of the night who can make me laugh so hard! I know that by God’s grace, we can now face anything together. I love you very much, Sutart. I am blessed that you are – and thank you for – being my husband. Happy Birthday!” she said.

Regine, on the other hand, shared her unending love for Ogie Alcasid, who celebrates his 52nd birthday today, Aug. 27.
