Six K-pop acts will perform at the 2019 K-pop Super Concert on Sept. 21 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
The show will be hosted by Dara and Ryan Bang and it will feature K-pop artists Winner, Mamamoo, Oh My Girl, Park Bom, AB6IX and Kriesha Chu.
According to FangirlAsia, the Korean organizer of the show is TV Chosun, a TV network in South Korea, and “this will be recorded live and will be shown as a TV special in Korea.”
Winner is composed of Yoon, Jinu, Mino and Hoony while Mamamoo is composed of Solar, Hwasa, Moonbyul and Wheein.
Oh My Girl, which debuted in 2015, is composed of Jiho, YooA, Hyojung, Mimi, Seunghee, Binnie and Arin.
Park Bom was a former member of girl group 2NE1 while AB6IX is composed of “Produce 101” Season 2 alums Lim Young-min and Kim Dong-hyun, former Wanna One members Park Woo-jin and Lee Dae-hwi, and Jeon Woong.
Filipino-American K-pop artist Kriesha Chu became known when she became a contestant on the Korean talent search show “K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance.” In the finale, Chu’s group KWINs, won runner-up.
After the show, she released her debut solo album in May 2017 followed by “Dream of Paradise” album in January 2018.
In April 2015, the Philippine Arena was the venue for the “Best of Best in the Philippines” concert that featured Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, BTOB and Red Velvet.
