K-pop groups Monsta X and Weki Meki added kick to the second anniversary of a travel deals and activities website.
The event, hosted by Kring Kim, drew fans and celebrities including Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, Maja Salvador and Winwyn Marquez.

Monsta X, composed of Shownu, Kihyun, Minhyuk, Wonho, Jooheon, I.M and Hyungwon, performed their hits including “Fallin,” “Mohae,” “White Sugar,” and “Shoot Out.” This is Monsta X’s second visit to the country after holding their first fan meeting in Manila in November 2016.

During the question-and-answer portion, Monsta X answered questions by fans.

When Jooheon was asked to recommend a song that reminds the group of Filipino Monbebes, he said, “ In my case, it’s ‘Mohae,’” a Monsta X son from their second studio album “Take.1 Are You There?” released in October last year.

“I would like to recommend this song to Monbebes because wherever you are, we’re always curious of what you guys are doing,” he said.

Kihyun also picked “Mohae” when he was asked what was his favorite Monsta X song.

Asked to choose the best moment he had with group members, Hyungwon answered, ““A few months ago, we went to Jeju Island to film and I think it was a really good memory for us.”

Last month, Monsta X finished the North American leg of “We Are Here” World Tour launched in Seoul in April.

What do members do when they are bored and flights are very long? Wonho replied, “In my case, when our flight is very long, I think about Monbebes.”

Filipino fans chanted “solo con” to say that they want Monsta X to hold a solo concert in the country to which Wonho replied, “We will try our best next year.”

On the other hand, eight-member Weki Meki, composed of Suyeon, Doyeon, Yoojung, Sei, Elly, Lua, Lucy and Rina, performed songs including “Crush,” “Picky Picky,” “Tiki-taka,” “La La La” and “Iron Boy.”

The group was asked what was their favorite memory with Ki-Ling (fandom name). Doyeon replied, “Recently it was our second year anniversary and we had a fan meeting, and that moment with our fans, it’s still in my mind.”

Sei said among the Filipino dishes that she wanted to eat, she wants to try kare-kare, sinigang and adobo.

“I had no chance yet to eat Filipino food properly. So I really want to try these Filipino food,” she said.

Doyeon added that among the places in the Philippines she wants to visit for a vacation, she wants to go to Cebu, saying, “Wonderful. Personally I would like to go to Cebu. I want to go scuba diving.”

It’s Weki Meki’s second time in Manila following their performance during the taping of the TV show “Show Champion” in Manila last October.

“The last time we were here in the Philippines, the crowd was also hot as like this. And now that we’re back, we can see that you guys are even wilder and I really miss this,” Suyeon said.

Dasuri Choi, Phoi Chan and Vincent Igno also graced the Klook Cosmic Celebration event.
