Rita Daniela and Ken Chan have an “airport story” to share and, no, it’s not about that past issue.

It’s about their unforgettable bonding moment with Coco Martin while they were waiting for a flight.

Ken shared that when he saw the Kapamilya actor, he hesitated approaching him.

“Nakita na namin si Kuya Coco. Sabi ko kay Rita, ‘Lalapitan ba natin? Kasi nahihiya kami!” he said. Galing taping.”

As it turned out, Coco made his way to meet the two, even calling them Aubrey and Boyet – the names of their characters on the now-defunct hit TV series “My Special Tatay.”

‘Tapos… sir! Sir! Pa-picture!”

Ken claimed Coco confessed to being a “fan” of the Kapuso couple. The latter also insisted on him taking their groufie shot.

Ken said.

Of course, Ken and Rita are overwhelmed by the experience.

So, parang… nakaka-overwhelm po yung ganoon. Masarap nakikita,” she said. “Sobrang bait ni Sir Coco.”

The Beautederm ambassadors wish for network war to end. Note that Ken is also good friends with Arjo Atayde.

Maganda nga, laging mag-usap-usap,” he said.

Alam mo yun? It’s a Philippine industry na walang rivalry.”

Friends, period

There’s no doubt RitKen is one of the most followed love teams today.

With their kilig overload partnership, their fans hope they would become real-life couple.

Hold your breath though as that’s not their priority right now.

Rita admitted though that she gets jealous every time he sees Ken talking to other girls. Same goes with Ken.

The actress believes that’s normal for friends who are so used to being with each other most of the time.

She sees no problem if Ken decides to pursue another girl.

Positivity

Rita has been earning criticisms over her weight.

Swell, she’s not affected. In fact, she wants to prove that showbiz isn’t about curves – it’s talent that matters.

“I’m an advocate of body positivity po. For me, the true meaning of sexiness is confidence.”

Although she promotes “all-natural” body, Rita is not closing her doors on getting enhancements.

Wala namang masama don. Karapatan yan ng isang tao (to decide on her own). Walang basagan ng trip ‘di ba?”

Asked about his thoughts on the phrase “the show must go on,” amid “personal issues,” Ken said that’s the principle he lives up to.

“Kahit masama po pakiramdam namin, tuloy ang trabaho kasi commitment po yan eh,” he said.

The two, along with Camille Prats, Sanya Lopez, and Pauline Mendoza, are the new Kapuso brand ambassadors of Beautéderm headed by Rhea Anicoche-Tan.

“My babies are increasing and I am so pleased and proud to welcome my GMA Artist Center brand ambassadors to our family,” said Rhea. “They are five of the most amazing artists I have ever met and I am at awe with what they have accomplished in their individual careers. We are blessed to have them onboard.”
