Netflix hit series “The End of the F***ing World” will not be renewed for a third season, Charlie Covell, writer of the series confirmed Friday.
“I think, for me, that’s it now. Yeah, that’s done. I think to try and eke more out would be wrong, I like where we’ve left it,” Covell said in an interview with Radio Times.
Covell based the series from the graphic novel with almost the same title “The end of the f***ing World” by Charles Forsman.
The series first aired October 17, 2018 and resumed for its second season on November 5 this year after receiving positive reviews from fans and critics.
The program narrates the story of a 17-year old boy named James, believing he’s a psychopath, who met Alyssa, a girl with issues of her own, as they ran away together and began to develop a “relationship” after a series of mishaps.
