Taeha and Yeonwoo have left Momoland, which is now re-organized as a six-member girl group, their agency announced.
MLD Entertainment issued a statement on Momoland’s official fan cafe on Nov. 30, saying that Taeha and Yeonwoo had been thinking about their careers for a long time and had plenty of conversation with the agency.
“First of all, after careful consideration and respecting her opinion, Tae-ha tries to start anew in a new place with the termination of her exclusive contract. We will do our best to support and encourage Tae-ha’s new start,” it said.
The agency said that Yeonwoo “had a strong affection for Momoland activities” but decided to leave the team and concentrate on her career as an actress.
As for Daisy, the company said they are still in talks with her and it will make an announcement as soon it is finished.
Taeha and Daisy were not included in Momoland’s “Show Me” album that was released last March.
“The decision has been carefully made after a long conversation and consultation between the artists and our company for a long time,” MLD Entertainment explained.
