Crowd favorite Javier, who represented the Philippines (Luzon) edged out 19 other empowered women for the crown.

Other winners were: Jill Chapman, USA (West Coast), Noble Queen Earth; Maria France Imelda Papin Carreon Philippines (Bicol), Noble Queen International; Anna Rabtsun Baylosis (Russia), Noble Queen Tourism; and Beau Singson Villanueva (Australia), Noble Queen Globe.

Walcher and Baylosis were also named Darlings of the Press prior to the grand coronation night.

First-runner up honors went to Ritchell Catt (Guam) while Sylvia Kim (Korea) was 2nd runner-up.

Javier is married to chiropractor Robert Walcher. They have two children.

This is not the first time for Javier to join a beauty pageant. When she was single, she competed in the 1998 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

During her younger years in show business, Javier was also a member of the defunct youth-oriented show “That’s Entertainment” in which she was batch mates with Isko Moreno, now Manila mayor, and actress-entrepreneur Ara Mina.

The Noble Queen of the Universe pageant which carries the tagline respect envisions to establish a compassionate society and to create opportunities for ladies to promote their noble culture to a global audience while celebrating their uniqueness, talent, and beauty.

It is also a fund-raising activity for projects that would help orphans and the poor. “It will empower women to initiate change in society through collaboration and friendship.”
