Miss Intercontinental Philippines Emma Tiglao leaves for Egypt as she represents the country in this year’s Miss Intercontinental pageant.

The beauty queen shared on Wednesday a photo on Instagram holding the national flag as she prepared to leave for the pageant.

Tiglao said that she is determined to do her best and to proudly represent the country in this global competition.

Laban Pilipinas!” the caption read.

She is aiming for a back-to-back victory after Karen Gallman won the title, Miss Intercontinental 2018, the first win for the country in 47 years.

The Miss Intercontinental 2019 pageant will be held in Egypt on December 20.
