“Ang magkaroon ng time na ayusin ang personal life ko.”
This is what Bela Padilla said when asked what “miracle” she wishes for. The question quotes a word in the title of her movie “Miracle In Cell No. 7”
Apparently, the actress wants to make more time for other things in her life outside work.
Despite her rambling away on the topic, don’t get her wrong as Bela is thankful for the blessings she has been getting.
“I’m happy where I am as a person,” she said.
Is she bad with time management or in striking healthy work-life balance?
“Medyo. Parang may blinders ako, parang horse blinders.
So, she thinks work and love life are things people can’t do at the same time, someone asked.
Bela revealed she has suitors but “hindi ko napupusuan.”
“Walang problema sa akin maging matandang dalaga,” she added, then revoked by, “Joke lang po. I’m just joking.”
“Tingnan natin, feeling ko malapit na (akong magka-love life). Baka next year.”
Well, with how things are going, that might get bumped off yet again. Bela’s schedule for 2020 is swamped with work. These include a film co-starring JC Santos set to air on Valentine’s Day.
Directed by Irene Villamor, the story is about “a child star na nalaos.”
“Nakakatawa siya, funny na dark, na kakaiba,” was how she put it.
Bela will also team up for the first time with Marco Gumabao in Pinoy adaptation of Korean movie “Spellbound.”
She is also set to try her hands at directing for the first time. The movie is based on a script she wrote a long time ago, for which she hopes to get Liza Soberano as lead actress.
“Miracle In Cell. No. 7” opens in cinemas on Dec. 25 as an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival.
