Jeonghan, member of K-pop boy band Seventeen, would be gone from the scene temporarily.
Pledis Entertainment, Seventeen’s agency, said on Dec. 20 Jeonghan will not be participating in schedules for December because of dizziness.
“We would like to make an announcement on the health condition and activity suspension of Seventeen member Jeonghan,” the agency said, according to Osen.
It added, “Recently, Jeonghan went to the hospital because of the declining health condition caused by dizziness. Based on the results of the thorough examination, the doctors advised him to minimize the schedules that require intense activities and need adequate rest.”
“After an in-depth discussion with the agency, Jeonghan decided to halt all activities until late December 2019. Currently, Jeonghan is taking a good rest. Our company will make every effort and wholeheartedly support his recovery and treatment,” Pledis said.
In November, Seventeen’s leader S.Coups, also known as Seungcheol, suspended his activities due to anxiety.
Member Dino was not able to participate in Seventeen’s “Ode to You” world tour in Japan on Nov. 7 due to enteritis, or inflammation of the intestine.
