ALDEN RICHARDS: May his winning streak at the box office, sparked by the monster hit “Hello Love Goodbye,” continue in 2020. Perhaps, a reunion film with Kathryn Bernardo towards the end of the New Year is in order. May GMA assign him TV or movie projects that can test further his versatility.
KATHRYN BERNARDO: That she may reap more box office hits after 2019’s greatest hits, “The Hows of Us” and “Hello Love Goodbye.” That she may land more projects co-starring her with other actors, the better for her to grow as an artist.
DANIEL PADILLA: That he may pull off a box-office hit opposite an actress other than Kathryn Bernardo. How about a movie with Liza Soberano, for a change?
KIM CHIU: That her new projects, a teleserye (“Love Thy Woman”) and a new horror movie fly high. May she transition into truly mature roles with ease and confidence, plus a few more pounds to add up to her sex appeal.
GERALD ANDERSON: That he may move on from whatever ‘’sins of the past’’ he may have committed in the name of love or lust. He’s just human.
ROCCO NACINO: Nice guy from GMA deserves better breaks as a leading man, something that may have started with MMFF entry, “Write To Love.”
NORA AUNOR: The public has just one more wish for the eternal superstar. That she be named National Artist for Film. No one is more deserving.
PIOLO PASCUAL: May he find someone to love and finally settle down with. May he not stop acting altogether as he dreams of turning into a full-time film producer.
JOHN LLOYD CRUZ: That he steps out of his self-imposed semi-retirement status and resumes his stalled acting career. People dream of a reunion movie with him and Bea Alonzo for starters.
BEA ALONZO: May she find the perfect boyfriend who will soon become her perfect husband. She has to beat the maternity clock fast.
ANGEL LOCSIN: That God may bless her furthermore with good health as she performs angelic roles to many. May she find a good husband in Neil Arce.
ANNE CURTIS: May she and Erwan Heusaff have a healthy baby girl. May she continue spreading happy vibes with her cheerful disposition at all times.
RICHARD GUTIERREZ: May he clinch more good roles, such as that in recent hit Unbreakable. Richard’s forthcoming wedding to longtime partner Sarah Lahbati, mother of his two sons, will make him more blessed in the eyes of God.
GARY VALENCIANO: That he may not stop singing or performing altogether despite plans of mounting his last major concert in early 2020. Gary is truly one of our most dedicated music artists, and we’re all for the better if he continues singing, composing.
MARTIN NIEVERA: Martin hasn’t announced any plans of staging a last major concert, and it looks like he won’t make one, ever. The stage is Martin’s life. May he find peace in his domestic life, and may his singing voice get better with the passing of time.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE: As for me, my wish for the New Year is to gain back my 20-20 vision, in line with year 2020.
