K-pop boy band BTS made history again by becoming the first artist to win all the two daesang, or grand prizes, in a single year at the 34th Golden Disc Awards (GDA).
The GDA ceremony was held Jan. 4 and 5 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul to honor the best Korean artists in digital music on the first day and album on the second day.
BTS won the digital daesang, or the digital song of the year, for “Boy with Luv” featuring Halsey and the following day, they bagged the disc daesang, or album of the year, for “Map of the Soul: Persona.”
